How Is the Cost Per Lead Determined?

We negotiate that up front. To determine what you are willing to pay, you need to estimate what percentage of leads you can convert into sales & figure out how much each sale is worth to you. We're usually not interested unless you are willing to pay at least $5 per lead, because it just isn't worth our up-front investment in developing the site.

Can we pay on a per sale basis instead of a per-lead basis?

Possibly. The problem is that if we set up a web site so that people contact you through a form on the web site, we know each time that you get a lead. We don't know when you complete a sale. You need to be someone we know we can trust to work on a per sale basis.

How long will it take to start getting leads?

Good question. It will take at least a month. We try to get a web site up within 2 weeks. If your business is complicated & unfamiliar to us, it may take longer. After that, it will take some time before it shows up in search engines. Depending on competition, it might take us a while to get decent rankings. If we can't get our web site to rank on the first page of the search results, it won't generate a significant number of leads.

What if none of my leads are converted into sales?

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If your leads have no value, we will refund your money.

Who owns the website?

We own the domain & the web site, but you retain ownership of any photos you give us to develop the site. If you stop working with us, we will remove your photos from the web site. We reserve the right to use the domain & web site with other customers, including your competitors.
